Permits & Renewals
A monthly permit gives you the right to park in a designated Parking People site for one calendar month. You sign up online, provide your vehicle registration, and pay via Stripe. Your permit renews automatically each month until you cancel.
🔗 Link to this answerWhen you first sign up, you pay two months upfront โ your first month and your last month. After that, your permit renews monthly. The two-month upfront payment ensures your final month is covered when you give notice to cancel.
🔗 Link to this answerLog in to My Account and submit a cancellation request, or email info@parkingpeople.ie with your name and vehicle registration. We require 30 days written notice. Your pre-paid last month will cover your final month, so there are no additional charges.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay โ all processed securely through Stripe. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
🔗 Link to this answerYour monthly payment is taken on the same date each month as your original sign-up date. You will receive an email receipt from Stripe after each successful payment.
🔗 Link to this answerIf your payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry the payment over the following days. You will receive an email notification. If payment cannot be collected after multiple attempts, your permit will be suspended. Contact us if you are having payment difficulties.

Call our release line: Cork 021 4700557 or Dublin 01 908 1133. Our team is available 7 days a week. Do not attempt to remove the clamp yourself โ this is a criminal offence and may damage your vehicle.
🔗 Link to this answerRelease fees are fixed and displayed on all signage at our sites. The standard release fee is stated on the clamping notice attached to your vehicle. There are no hidden charges.
🔗 Link to this answerThis should not happen, but errors can occur. Call our release line immediately. Provide your vehicle registration and permit reference. We will investigate and release your vehicle without charge if the clamping was made in error.
🔗 Link to this answerVehicles are clamped for parking without a valid permit, parking in a reserved or disabled bay without authorisation, or parking in a manner that contravenes the terms posted on our signage. The reason is stated on the notice placed on your vehicle.

Submit your appeal in writing within 14 days of the enforcement action. You can use our online contact form or email info@parkingpeople.ie with your name, vehicle registration, notice number, date of incident, and the grounds for your appeal.
🔗 Link to this answerWe aim to review all appeals within 5 working days. Complex cases may take up to 10 working days. You will receive a written response by email. If your appeal is upheld, any release fee paid will be refunded within 5 working days.
🔗 Link to this answerYes. If you are not satisfied with our decision, you may escalate to our senior management in writing. If you believe our enforcement was unlawful, you may seek independent legal advice or contact the National Consumer Agency.

Please email our management team at info@parkingpeople.ie with a detailed account of the incident, date, time, location, and if possible, the staff member's badge number. All complaints are investigated and responded to within 10 working days.

Most of our sites offer 24/7 access for monthly permit holders. Site-specific access hours are listed on the individual location page on our website. For confirmation, call us on 021 4700557 (Cork) or 01 908 1133 (Dublin).
🔗 Link to this answerMany of our sites are monitored by CCTV for the safety and security of vehicles and users. CCTV signage is displayed where applicable. Data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy.
