Parking with Purpose — Our CSR Commitment
We believe that how you enforce parking matters as much as whether you enforce it. Our CSR charter is not an afterthought — it is built into how we operate every single day.
The Trocaire Somalia Schools Project
Our Partner Since 2015
Trocaire is the overseas development agency of the Catholic Church in Ireland, working in over 20 countries to tackle the root causes of poverty and injustice. Parking People has been a proud Trocaire partner since 2015, contributing specifically to the Somalia Schools Project.
The Somalia Schools Project supports the construction and running of primary schools in rural communities across Somalia — one of the world's least developed nations. The project funds teacher training, school materials, and infrastructure for children who would otherwise have no access to formal education.
Our commitment is simple and auditable: 20% of all revenue collected through vehicle clamping and release fees is donated to this project. This is calculated quarterly, reported to our board, and confirmed in writing to Trocaire.

Our Ethical Enforcement Charter
We enforce parking rules — but we do it fairly. These are the commitments we make to every driver, whether they park with a permit or are found in violation.
Clear Signage Always
We only enforce in areas where our terms and conditions are clearly displayed on signage before entry. If signage is unclear or damaged, we do not clamp.
Fair Notice Period
Vehicles parked in clear violation of posted rules are given a reasonable period before clamping. We do not clamp immediately on minor infringements.
Transparent Release Process
Release fees are fixed and published. There are no hidden charges. We accept phone calls 7 days a week for clamped vehicles.
Formal Appeals Process
Every clamping notice includes clear instructions for how to appeal. Appeals are reviewed within 5 working days by a manager not involved in the original enforcement action.
Data Protection
Vehicle and driver data collected during enforcement is processed in accordance with GDPR. We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Staff Training
All enforcement staff complete our in-house ethics training before going on patrol. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or intimidation.
Charity Commitment
20% of all clamping release revenue is donated to Trocaire's Somalia Schools Project. This is not discretionary — it is a fixed contractual commitment.
