We are Cork's largest private parking management company — a people-first business that has been helping drivers and property owners make sense of parking since 2009.
Our Story
Parking People was founded in Cork in 2009 with a simple belief: parking management should be fair, transparent, and serve the needs of people — not just the bottom line.
What began as a small operation managing a handful of car parks in Cork city centre has grown into Ireland's most trusted private parking operator, with 17 managed sites across Cork and Dublin and over 500 active permit holders.
From the start, we have focused on doing things differently. We were among the first parking operators in Ireland to introduce fully online permit sign-up, real-time availability information, and a clear, published appeals process for enforcement notices.
Today, our team of parking professionals, technologists, and customer support staff work every day to make parking simpler, safer, and more sustainable — for commuters, property owners, and the communities we operate in.

Our Trocaire Partnership
We are proud to be the only parking operator in Ireland with a formal charity partnership written into our enforcement model. Since 2015, we have donated 20% of all clamping revenue to Trocaire's Somalia Schools Project.
This isn't just a PR exercise — it is built into our pricing and audited annually. Every time we clamp a vehicle parked in violation of posted regulations, part of that income helps educate children in Somalia.
